Conceptual Framework and Accreditation Information

The Teacher Education Program at McKendree University is seeking initial accreditation by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education. The Unit is currently in pre-candidacy status. The following links are to documents that must be submitted for this accreditation process.

The Conceptual Framework of the Teacher Education Program at McKendree University defines the essence of what it is to be a teacher prepared by this institution. The framework was identified, developed, and articulated with input from a broad representation of the educational community served by McKendree University. This framework with its supporting documents is in a stage of continuous refinement. Thus, it is always a draft document.
